DETAILED ITINERARY

 Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Pick up from the Airport, transfer to hotel. Over night in Hotel.

Day 02: In Delhi (sightseeing)

Morning after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi, we visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan/Presidents House,  Sansad Bhawan/Parliament House. In the evening transfer to the Railway station to catch the night train to Bikaner. Overnight in the Train.

Day 03: Arrive Bikaner. (sightseeing)

Arrive early morning Bikaner. Check in Hotel, after wash up and change & breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Bikaner. Today We will visit the unusual Junagarh Fort; unlike all the major forts in Rajasthan, which are on hilltops, this one was built on the desert plains itself, also visit the National Camel Breeding Farm and see the spectacular desert sunset in the background. Evening visit the busy market to watch the shipping of the Indian market. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 04: Bikaner drive Panchoo and short camel safari till first camp

Morning drive Bikaner to  Panchoo (around 75 kms, around around 2 hrs drive), en route visit to Deshnok Rat Temple, (called  Karni Mata Temple), which is 30 kms from Bikaner . After the sightseeing of the Rat temple we will further drive to the place where we will meet our camel safari crew in Thar Desert.

Here we start the short safari of today, we go through the small tribal villages. We will be very close to the Rajasthani Culture/Desert life. People are very simple, sincere & hard working. We can watch the tough life of the local people. The traditional life style of the Rajasthani people is an experience in itself to see.

Camp fire’s, song & dance, candle light dinner’s under open sky in the desert will be part of the daily routines at the camping place. Over night in camp1.

Day 05: Camel Safari

Early morning after sun rise, we can have a beautiful view of the impressive sand dunes in desert. Then after breakfast we proceed further to explore the desert life, and will meet the local people and might be able to  share their thoughts and enjoy their hospitality. We will have hot lunch some where on the sand dunes, and after lunch our  caravan will move towards our next camp. Over night in the camp2.

Day 06: End of Camel Safari at Jamba and further drive Jaisalmer

Morning after breakfast, we have a short camel safari for around one & half hour to end it near a place - Jamba. Our vehicles will be waiting here for pick up. We drive Jamba to Jaisalmer (around175 kms. around 5 hrs drive). On arrival in Jaisalmer, check in hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight Hotel.

Day 07: In Jaisalmer (Sightseeing)

Sightseeing:  Jaisalmer Fort , Jain Temples, Laxminath Temple, Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli, Camel ride at Khuri.

Overnight Hotel.

Day 08: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Morning drive Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (around 280 kms, around 7 to 8 hrs drive) another  princely state before independence. On arrival in Jodhpur, check in hotel and after wash up and change proceed for sight seeing of Jodhpur. Visit the Museum in Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, Mehranagarh fort. Overnight Hotel

Day 09: Jodhpur – Ranakpur - Mount Abu

Morning drive Jodhpur to Mount Abu (around 320 kms, a long day drive) via Ranakpur. On arrival in Mt.Abu., check in hotel for over night.

Day 10: In Mount Abu (Sightseeing)

Morning proceed for sightseeing of Mount Abu. We visit Dilwara Jain Temple, Nakki Lake, Kirti Stamb, Rana Kumbha’s Palace. Evening back to the hotel for over night.

Day 11: Mount Abu - Udaipur

Morning drive Mount Abu to Udaipur (around 190 kms., around  4 to 5 hrs drive). On arrival in Udaipur, check in hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight Hotel

Day 12: In Udaipur (Sightseeing)

Morning proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace and museum, Jagdish temple and  Saheliyon Ki Bari. Over Night Hotel.

Day 13: Udaipur - Pushkar

Morning drive Udaipur to Pushker (around 281 kms., around 7 to 8 hrs drive), the Holy Place for Hindu’s. On arrival in Pushkar check in hotel, after wash up and change walk to the Holy Pushker lake and nearby very famous Brahama Temple. Overnight Hotel.

Day 14: Pushkar - Jaipur

Morning drive Pushkar to Jaipur (around 164 kms, around 4 to 5 hrs drive), the modern capital city of  independent Rajasthan. On arrival in Jaipur Check In hotel. Evening at leisure for individual exploration. Übernachtung im Hotel. Overnight Hotel

Day 15: In Jaipur (Sightseeing) 

Full day sight seeing of Jaipur city starting from early morning elephant ride to Amer fort, further visiting City Palace, Palace of Winds and Jantar Mantar. Overnight Hotel

Day 16: Jaipur - Agra

Morning drive Jaipur to Agra (around 235 kms, around 5 hrs drive). Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, 40kms before reaching Agra. Overnight Hotel in Agra.

Day 17: Agra Sightseeing and then Agra drive Delhi fly home.

Morning proceed for sight seeing of Taj Mahal & Red Fort. Then further drive Agra to Delhi (around 205 kms, around 5 hrs drive). Arrive Delhi in the evening, transfer to hotel near airport for Wash up & change. Transfer to the international airport to catch the flight.
